If it is a generic ATA it is still likely locked to their service.

I bought the IP04 device before it was commercially mfg by Atcom - I
_hope_ it has the proper certification because it has been running nicely
at my friend's house for a couple of years now. Didn't like the original
software but the BAPS code that was an option works fine.
