1. Make sure to factor in the cost of their internet service per channel. Not sure how competitive Allstream internet pricing is with Cogeco Data / Cogent / et al. 2. Make sure you confirm what "bi-directional" really means. They expect a certain balance of inbound/outbound traffic. Using bi-directional channels for mostly outbound may result in penalties and surcharges. 3. Look at the billing increments and rounding. Some carriers charge ¢1 per call minimum - regardless of what your rate is. This is supposedly due to legacy accounting systems unable to count in fractions of a penny. Some will bill calls in 12, 30 or even 60 second increments. Not so great for dialer / call center traffic. 4. Beware of contracts.
