I'm sorry, but I'm not a forum person. Nor an IRC person. I do email.
I signed up for this list expecting to read all about others' troubles and
successes, and learn how to use this system in the process. But the list
has been mostly silent, and now I find out why: The asteriskNOW community
lives in forum world, not email world.
I have attempted to update several times. I select 'update the system'
from the tty1 menu. The cursor goes to the bottom of the screen, pauses,
then flashes two messages briefly: 'Preparing changeset request' and 'no
new troves found', then it goes back to the menu, and nothing changes.
I have reported the stuttering audio problem here before, and mostly I
get no response at all, or a 'it's ok for me'.

The only thing good I can say about this distro is that 'ring groups'
work for me for the first time, so now an incoming call acts like a good
old POTS line, where all extensions ring, and I can answer it anywhere.

But I get complaints that my voicemail prompts are indecipherable, so I
basically just use the VoIP line for outgoing calls.
