I guess that would work too as long as gendigits and the like get built
for the host system. This was the only way I could see to build it along the
same lines as it was built in the zaptel.mk file.

The reason I have the compile like this that when we were building wanpipe
for our development box the dependencies were not working out unless we ran
through the whole process twice (this was suggested by Sangoma tech support).
If they work out the first time that is wonderful.

Yes I was running this as root in a chrooted enviroment as I did not want
any of my mistakes (which there were a few) to take out my host system. I will
take a quick look in the ./Setup and see if I can get the check removed.
