Hi all,

I run a Soekris platform here at the house and find myself needing to
record my wife's phone line for her work purposes. I have a 1gb USB
flash installed. Do you think that the Soekris engine has enough gusto
to record her conversation and then convert the 2 resultant files into
one?

I was thinking about using this script

;[macro-record-calls]
exten => _1NXXNXXXXXX,1,Set(MONITORDIR=/mnt/kd/asterisk/monitor)
exten => _1NXXNXXXXXX,2,SetVar(CALLFILENAME=
${TIMESTAMP}-${CALLERIDNUM}-${EXTEN})
exten => _1NXXNXXXXXX,3,Monitor(wav,${CALLFILENAME})
exten => _1NXXNXXXXXX,4,Answer
exten => _1NXXNXXXXXX,5,Background(this-call-may-be)
exten => _1NXXNXXXXXX,6,Background(recorded)
exten => _1NXXNXXXXXX,7,Background(for-quality-purposes)
exten => _1NXXNXXXXXX,8,Dial(SIP/[EMAIL PROTECTED],30,t)

exten => h,1,SetVar(MONITORDIR=/mnt/kd/asterisk/monitor)
exten => h,2,System(/usr/bin/wmix ${MONITORDIR}/${CALLFILENAME}-in.wav
${MONITORDIR}/${CALLFILENAME}-out.wav
> /mnt/kd/asterisk/monitor/${CALLFILENAM}.wav
exten => h,3,System(/bin/rm ${MONITORDIR}/${CALLFILENAME}-in.wav
${MONITORDIR}/${CALLFILENAME}-out.wav)
