Actually I don't have any experience to report on this yet. I used a Sipura SPA-3000 (aka SPA3K) on my last (first!) business voip install for a neighbor's dental office after Dell shipped us a server with a SCSI card in the slot we were going to use for the Digium TDM400 (ugh!). Although there is a wealth of information about the SPA3k and we did configure it fairly easily it has ongoing problems with echo. Power cycling it fixes it for another 1-4 weeks, but then it requires another reboot. I'd like to use a Digium card in my next install for simplicity, but then you lose the failover mode on powerfail, and it raises the hardware requirements fot the Asterisk box. So I'm looking for reasonably priced alternatives. So far I've found the Vegastreams Vega 50, the Mediatrix 1000 series and now you've reminded me that I also came across the Audio Codes gateways somewhere in my search and forgot about it. This is somewhat off topic, so I hesitate to continue, but I will happily gather opinions on gateways and summarize back to the group if there is interest. Fwiw, I've found there is a lot of good config information accruing in the trixbox.org forums (e.g. http://www.trixbox.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=335&forum=2#forumpost5503). cheers, michael _______________________________________________ Astlinux-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.kriscompanies.com/mailman/listinfo/astlinux-users Donations to support AstLinux are graciously accepted via PayPal to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
