I put it in there and it worked. Thanks for all the help.
I think the documentation should be written in the format one of those
"choose your own adventure" books.
/If you have /mnt/kd/rc.conf.d/user.conf please turn to page 47. If you
do not please turn to page 49.

ZAPMODS=wctdm24xxp
That is the line I have in my /mnt/kd/rc.conf. I've tried it with ir
without quotes. After the reboot I ran lsmod and I have nothing to
show for it.
If (and only if) the directory /mnt/kd/rc.conf.d/ exists, you will
want to put the ZAPMODS line in /mnt/kd/rc.conf.d/user.conf, create
user.conf if it doesn't already exist.

Edit your rc.conf file and set ZAPMODS=wctdm24xxp
Then reboot.

I moved the file from /etc/zaptel.conf to /mnt/kd/zaptel.conf and
reboot. Now the file information is stored in /mnt/kd/zaptel.conf
but
ztcfg won't read it. Even if I use "ztcfg -vv -c /mnt/kd/
zaptel.conf"
Another challenge I'm facing:
I believe that I shouldn't have to run "modprobe wctdm24xxp" after
every
reboot. What am I doing wrong?

Thank you. You're a lifesaver.

Justin,
move your /etc/zaptel.conf to /mnt/kd/zaptel.conf and reboot.

I've managed to get my TDM410P configured but my /etc/zaptel.conf
settings aren't sticking after a reboot. Any suggestions? I
have both
unionfs and a keydisk configured.

No problem. Looks like everything will work once you get the
zaptel.conf and zapata.conf files configured properly. The fxs
modules
are green. Do you have green or red modules?
Clara Chan wrote:
My zaptel.conf consists of two lines
loadzone=au
fxoks=1-2
as I am using a TDM410P with 2 fxs modules in ports 1 and 2.
I initiated the ztcfg -vv command again and received the
following
error
Zaptel Version: 1.4.10.1
Echo Canceller: MG2
Configuration
======================
Channel map:
Channel 01: FXO Kewlstart (Default) (Slaves: 01)
Channel 02: FXO Kewlstart (Default) (Slaves: 02)
2 channels to configure.
Changing signalling on channel 1 from Unused to FXO Kewlstart
ZT_CHANCONFIG failed on channel 1: Invalid argument (22)
Did you forget that FXS interfaces are configured with FXO
signalling
and that FXO interfaces use FXS signalling?
The LEDs for the two activated ports on the Digium card is
now lit.
Will look into configuring zapata.conf
Thanks heaps, Darrick.
