OK, so I downgraded Astlinux via its ver file. Rebooted with xrunnix, upgraded both Astlinux and Runnix again, but I appear to be back where I started (kind of - see below):
boot: Could not find kernel image: runnix boot: Could not find kernel image: runnix boot: xrunnix Loading xrunnix........................................... Loading xrunnix.img........................................Ready. And so on. Of course, I'm not back to the beginning, as the web interface is now reporting: AstLinux Release: astlinux-1.0.1 - Asterisk 1.4.43 Runnix Release: runnix-0.4-5339 In other words, the box is fully updated, but will only boot to that via xrunnix. What has got confused? I guess xrunnix loads the older version.
