Got it !!! ath5k just got diversity support :-) When i put the pigtail on the aux antenna i got 25Mbits with 5213A, LoL they 've puted the sticker in the wrong place (ubiquity SRC) ! After checking out regdumps madwifi also used antenna 2 as the default antenna. So i did a little searching and found why fast diversity wouldn't work for ath5k (after playing with capability calls i know how to enable/disable diversity through register 0xa208 and it's enabled by default while we write initial register settings), we were setting AR5K_PHY_ANT_SWITCH_TABLE_x wrong (the same value for both TABLE_0 and 1). After i fixed it everything worked out of the box, i tried to switch antenna again etc and it's much better... 5213A [ 4] 0.0- 1.0 sec 2 datagrams received out-of-order [ 4] 1.0- 2.0 sec 3.01 MBytes 25.3 Mbits/sec 0.070 ms 232/ 2382 (9.7%) [ 4] 2.0- 3.0 sec 3.00 MBytes 25.1 Mbits/sec 0.158 ms 295/ 2432 (12%) [ 4] 3.0- 4.0 sec 3.00 MBytes 25.1 Mbits/sec 0.090 ms 285/ 2422 (12%) [ 4] 4.0- 5.0 sec 2.98 MBytes 25.0 Mbits/sec 0.109 ms 311/ 2435 (13%) [ 4] 5.0- 6.0 sec 2.97 MBytes 24.9 Mbits/sec 0.127 ms 331/ 2452 (13%) [ 4] 6.0- 7.0 sec 2.99 MBytes 25.0 Mbits/sec 0.116 ms 284/ 2414 (12%) [ 4] 7.0- 8.0 sec 3.01 MBytes 25.2 Mbits/sec 0.101 ms 267/ 2414 (11%) [ 4] 8.0- 9.0 sec 3.00 MBytes 25.1 Mbits/sec 0.105 ms 282/ 2419 (12%) [ 4] 9.0-10.0 sec 2.97 MBytes 24.9 Mbits/sec 0.087 ms 317/ 2435 (13%) [ 4] 10.0-11.0 sec 2.97 MBytes 24.9 Mbits/sec 0.526 ms 305/ 2422 (13%) [ 4] 11.0-12.0 sec 2.96 MBytes 24.9 Mbits/sec 0.103 ms 328/ 2442 (13%) [ 4] 12.0-13.0 sec 2.97 MBytes 24.9 Mbits/sec 0.115 ms 328/ 2448 (13%) [ 4] 0.0-13.3 sec 37.2 MBytes 23.4 Mbits/sec 0.220 ms 3657/30204 (12%) [ 4] 0.0-13.3 sec 2 datagrams received out-of-order Switched Antenna [ 3] local 192.168.254.1 port 5001 connected with 192.168.254.253 port 44422 [ 3] 0.0- 1.0 sec 435 KBytes 3.56 Mbits/sec 0.837 ms 10/ 313 (3.2%) [ 3] 1.0- 2.0 sec 3.01 MBytes 25.2 Mbits/sec 0.098 ms 157/ 2303 (6.8%) [ 3] 2.0- 3.0 sec 2.99 MBytes 25.1 Mbits/sec 0.516 ms 124/ 2259 (5.5%) [ 3] 3.0- 4.0 sec 2.98 MBytes 25.0 Mbits/sec 0.284 ms 270/ 2399 (11%) [ 3] 4.0- 5.0 sec 2.99 MBytes 25.0 Mbits/sec 0.105 ms 260/ 2390 (11%) [ 3] 5.0- 6.0 sec 2.98 MBytes 25.0 Mbits/sec 0.095 ms 299/ 2425 (12%) [ 3] 0.0- 6.9 sec 18.1 MBytes 22.0 Mbits/sec 1.098 ms 1316/14212 (9.3%) Phewww, i was afraid it was something much more complicated... Now up for 2112a rf_buffer settings, so we can fix b/g support, thanx to John i now have a b/g only card to play with so it's just a matter of time, but i'll also need a dump for a b/g only card with 2413/4. -- GPG ID: 0xD21DB2DB As you read this post global entropy rises.
