I also have a series of maintenance tasks I perform on a weekly or at least monthly basis. Subject: Re: [ATI] accessible virus protection Denny: I am not sure if it is accessible but I use Piriform CC Cleaner to check on the amount of disposable files present on my disk. When this gets up to about 10 percent of hard drive I clean out the material . I also have a standard procedure of Defragging the disk at least once per week. Both of these actions have been of value to me. R. E. (Dick) Driscoll, Sr. On 2/23/2014 9:15 PM, Denny Huff wrote: No, it doesn't take that long to download. Although I am running an I5 processor and 4 gig of ram my PC gets very sluggish while the download and installation process is being done. So I just manually download it. ___________________________________________________________________ Denny Huff Gateway For the Blind LLC. This might not happen to everybody b ut it does on mine. IDenny Huff Gateway For The Blind LLC. I also turn off the automatic updates for Vipre and update the definitions manually once a week or so. ___________________________________________________________________ Denny Huff Gateway For the Blind LLC.
