But, it would definitely help resolve a great deal of ambiguity if there was a means by which publishers could provide this sort of processing hint to intermediaries in the channel. (Consider this sort of thing to be very much like the cache control hints that folk insert in the headers of HTTP packets. Sometimes, you have to give the intermediaries like proxies, publish/subscriber routers or brokers, search engines, etc. some hints to get them to work properly.)
