In any case, I see it as a problem that there is no currently (if only tentatively) valid autodiscovery document, because I’ve had to advise two concerned publishers about that so far; that’s something I think needs addressing ASAP. I don’t see any downside to unexpiring the existing I-D that codifies the status quo. If enough people agree that it needs to be amended, then let’s unexpire it as just a draft.
