Therefore, the whole qt44 suite can not be on stable (and splitting would be
worse).

I agree that the name of the repo is not very adequate. It could be
ATrpms-extras or ATrpms-complementary. The real problem is that replacing
core packages is considered
a kind of heresy by a lot of people...
