Okay, I'm going to be Release Manager for 2.0.1. I'd like to get it out by end of June, but I need a summary of where we are, before deciding that.
I think we do not really need a full two-week freeze, per http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Release_Process#Process item 1. Per item 7, I think it's more important to set the freeze date, and go through the 48-hour cycle iterations to get to release date. Please let me know who can do what tasks specified in http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Release_Process#Process item 3. Please make sure that bug priorities are as desired for release. Also, I've seen posts about new features and their relative desirabilities. Do we have a place tracking those, other than this thread? Any outside this thread?
