Quick version: Thanks! String Freeze 1st June. Translations ready 14th June. Where are new/better translation hints needed?
Long Version: Thanks to everyone who contributed to translation of 2.1.0 which has now been released. The translation is much appreciated by the many users of translated Audacity. Release of 2.1.1 is planned for the end of June. We (developers) may be changing strings for translation right up until the 1st June. For this release there should though be fewer new strings than we had in 2.1.0. We would like to use 2.1.1 to bring more of the translations we have up to date. The last date for translations for 2.1.1 will be 14th June. We may be able to accept translations later, as we did for 2.1.0, but you shouldn't count on it. We (developers) want to improve the hints to translators. Some of the strings we give you to translate are cryptic or ambiguous. Let us know of problems we can help fix by new hints or better hints.
