You need to assign ownership and all permissions on the entire directory and all subdirectories to yourself.  This is something that I always look up when i need it-since it's 1 AM here, I'm not going to do so for you.  Windows thinks that they're important system files and is protecting you from yourself.  Google the errors you get and work through it-it'll probably taken an hour or so.  I've had to do this two or three times on Vista and 7, and this is what has worked for me.
