Re: The reborn

Actually Mike, looking at the game now I think I was a little to hasty in me dismissing for lack of content, since a look in the manual shows many locations and quests and things like full magical combat and familiars.

The game is indeed still being developed, although it's only one year old, so there is more to go, and while the last update was a couple of months ago it seems the developer makes big updates every so often rather than very many small ones.

A couple of things which I didn't bare in mind were firstly, that this game has probably the easiest way of grinding for items ever, since you just have to pretty much set your character going and then go off to do something else (I'm chopping wood as we speak), and secondly that the crafting system is actually quite nice since rather than having to specifically sit and go through trying lots of alternative recipes and hitting a "craft" button, the game just tells you what you can make with the items you have got, ---- even though all recipes are already in the manual.

There is also more story than I initially thought as well, albeit you have to search for it.

So, while not a quick game, I don't think it's too terrible and could potentially be rather fun.

Likewise, one rather nice fact about the game
