well mike I assume in runescape there is something a little more interesting to do to get back than watch a counter as you clean streets .
As far as I can gather combat is something of a must in the game if you want to go through the story and quests, and it is true you can leave items in your house once you have one, however it's quite annoying given the time involved, and how much time it takes to get your stuff back.
