Re: A few computer problems I'm having..thoughts?
I believe I found a *possible* (and I emphesyse on possible) cause of the memory leak: malfunctioning addons. I had the instant translate add on on my NVDA which doesn't do anything when I pres insertShiftT and or any other instant translate keystrokes, so I removed it yesterday hoping it would help. I don't know whether its just my imagination or its for real but my computer doesn't seem to stop responding that much. NVDA also seem to become more responsive, but since I only tried this for a day...
EDIT: OK this is not making sense... The first time I maximised on the forum window using the system menu as Sam suggested, it didn't work. After I posted this post though it worked fine to display the audiogames date and karma thing, and restoring still shows that information...hmm...
Well...it seems NVDA has kind of a temper. Right after I said that restoring thing still shows karma and date, when I went back to the forum it doesn't show it anymore . ..
