I've not played more because I was out last night and my wife is currently using her machine that has manamon installed on it .
I did find the area I was missing in the tunnel, though haven't made it to the second stadium yet.
It would be nice to have elemental info in the game itself, say by hitting shift Y wen your looking at one of your manamon you get a strength/weakness breakdown of it's element types.
What I'm finding is that it's relatively easy to level manamon when your in an area with types their weak to, quite hard otherwise. So at the moment my manamon are all either level 17 plus (my ratsel is level 23), or around the 13 mark.
Since I can't be sure what I'll encounter type wise I've gone on a basis of trying to catch as many as possible and level equally, albeit there are some manamon I notice who are more use than others, for example genamon and chingle, while Mircat is sort of a dead loss.
That's the stratogy I always used in puppet nightmares, though admitedly in that game it was far easier to take different creatures around since all the battles were 3 on 3.
I've not seen much by way of evolution though, accept for wormer, though I have learnt from Jayde's posts regarding spoilers about gameplay mechanics (albeit like Grryf I try to avoid the story spoilers), that evolutions are probably a little later than they occur in pokemon.
I'll hopefully get a chance to continue later today and make it to the second stadium.
