I am aware of both. Series 6 was a clear shout out to the time war, but it was only that. About on par with Dark Eyes in that they make a clear reference in as much as they can. I'm personally hoping since the Warrior crosses paths with Ten and Eleven, he'll be able to save some Time Lords and appear in Eleven's present. I've not at all liked the idea of screwing over the Lords and Ladies just to make the Doctor unique, especially since Susan and Romana were good people who didn't deserve to be stuck in a moment forever. So here's to hoping since 8 finally got his curtain call there'll be some damage control.
