Ultimately, it comes out to about 9 samples. Say you're recording a flag for the waiter. You might do 3 mood variations of "Waiter", one annoyed, one casual, and one cheerful. Mind you, you don't have to use the same line for all three... your annoyed self isn't probably going to just say waiter, it might say something like "Damn it, can I get some service?" That's why I said I wasn't going to be as draconian in this one. You can do as many variations as you like, and none of them have to be the same words... I just need 3 samples in total, at the very least. It's also why I didn't write down very specific examples this time. The last time I did that, most people just recorded the written examples and didn't really branch out and get creative.
