No, windows 8 isn't the issue. I'm perfectly happy with this laptop in fact it actually looks quite good to me... wondering what you think of the specs listed there? My family just thinks that for the same amount of money I could get a better computer. I already have my own opinion. Just trying to see what other computer gurus think about this one. If you go on the site there and click specifications, it's all there.
