Re: Navigation in large mud areas

Unfortunately, Batmud is particularly difficult for that reason. Their overworld is millions of rooms, and they take the same approach to terrain both in cities and outside of them. It might help you to think of the Bat City layout as blocks, and you can have separate rooms for both the north and south sides of the street. To add further difficulty, though, you have the fact that doors do not show up in room descriptions, so if you're standing in a city, and the directions say north east west, it's possible you could have doors to the south, southwest, or southeast. The only way to figure out if that is the case is to try those directions.
If you can find a better method of reading the overhead map, you might have more luck. Otherwise, I eventually had to call this one a wash.
