Has anyone ever played Sub1 in custom maps, or viewed it in the map editor?
That outside area is mostly so you can shoot zombies out the windows, but it is possible to run around the whole hospital when out there.
If you play it in single player and start at a random location, there's a good chance you'll spawn outside.
If not for the fact that it conflicts with multi2, I'd say just go with it. Maybe you're at some other hospital that's just that well barricaded?
