Re: rpg quest, game for ios

Just for the record, Haypi Monster is neither developed using Canvas, nor do I have any trouble viewing my statistics, even during battle. I'm able to play the game just fine. The only part I have any trouble with is breeding, and then only because it shows a graphical symbol for male or female monster, so you don't really know what you're catching and it becomes random, which sucks since seal cards aren't exactly in abundance. That's the only part that gave me any trouble at all though.

As for finding anything with atmosphere, no, not really. Most of the text adventures I find are like RPG quest, or like legend of the red dragon with less atmosphere. I spent a week trying hundreds of games and came away with a large list of mostly free games, which maybe one day I'll get around to posting on AppleVis or something. I have almost 200 games on my phone, every one of them accessible. But none of them are really worth playing for very long, in my op inion.

Funnily enough, I just got smacked by the Canvas thing again this morning. When I was trying to help stirlock find RPG Text Adventure and quest for adventure, I found a cool-looking zombie survival game that seemed somewhat like Survivor-Z, and claimed to play like a gamebook with RPG elements. However, VoiceOver sees absolutely nothing, which is a shame since it also has a soundtrack from what I could see when I started it up, and possibly sound effects as well. Damn you Canvas!
