Giving Haypy monster a try
Well for the sake of fairness I've tried haypymonster again, and I agree about the combat messages and interface being better than those in monster kingdom, though the button lables are just plane loopy!
I have completed the jungle to level 3, but I have no idea how to change monsters or how the equip screen works, heck, i'm not even %100 what everything on the scene screen shows what is I have got that my first active monster is at the top, and that barrow dice means roll dice, but there is a weerd button just next to my active monster.
I also find the monster view rather confusing and still have no idea how to change monsters or select them to do stuff like synthesis.
I agree the game is playable, but accessible? hmmm, not with the amount of weerd lables and random icons, heck I only know which of these insane lables are my monsters because the buttons list the stats, though how to play with my bud instead of my draco or my twiggy I have no idea.
I also find it very difficult to catch monsters with the seal card thingy and have thus far not manage to catch any others.
Actually i confess I am finding the task of sifting information from the random lables and whacky interface to be more frustrating than I find the game interesting to play, and I think I prefer monster Kingdom sinse at least I'm not constantly having war with the interface just to accomplish basic tasks like changing my party lineup.
