The only thing I'll add here is that posting impulsively can actually help you realize what's ok to say and what isn't. If you get backlash for something you've posted, no matter how angry you might be at the time, it's going to force you to think about it. Hopefully, you come to the conclusion that no, you don't need to do that thing again that caused harm, discomfort, or whatever else, but sometimes that takes awhile. Some people never grow up, or at the very least, never learn to curb their impulses, but that's just the spectrum of human behavior. You're proposing to fix a problem that would only become more of an issue if the person is coddled and saved from themselves by whatever solution you might think is right, which, mind you, I don't think one exists in the first place.
