I recall one time I had an Eagawk that had Obscure and Sandy Wind, which I'd used several times each on a foe for the pure fun of it. Foe uses Soul Ripper. Hits. Eagawk dies. I literally turned the game off and didn't play it for a week.
As I've pointed out before, luck is fine. But I want skill to be the primary determinant of how well one does in a manamon battle.
