What is the Coolest Experience You've Ever Had
Hi.
I've had several, but I could name two experiences that stand out right now.
At the time of writing this post, we're at Coco Beach in Florida, and I got to go surfing with a professional surfer/wrestler. I was laying on the board on my stomach which isn't how you're supposed to do it; you're actually supposed to stand on it, but I have terrible coordination.
nevertheless, it was really fun. The guy was holding onto the board behind me so we wouldn't get separated, and we caught some pretty huge waves. I also wiped out, and it was pretty cool. I've been told the board went about three feet in the air. I went under, and I don't think I've ever been tossed and turned quite that ruff by anything in my life before today. It was really fun, but it would have been even more fun if I didn't get hurt. The water dragged me to shore really hard, so I got scuff marks on my feet. The way I hit the sand caused my tows to bend really far back too, and I've got a giant bruise which makes it hard to walk. I also panicked and sucked down a little water, which gave me a sore stomach for a few minutes. BTW, if anyone could tell me how to wipe out a little more gracefully next time that'd be appreciated. I still enjoyed my time out there though, and it made for a pretty cool video.
The second experience was while I was living in Lincoln. Me and my friend were on our commencement drops, and we decided to stop by Village Inn for lunch. I was having a particularly stressful day, I got ditched by the bus and had to wait at the bus stop for two hours before another one came, (this is why I hate the bus system BTW). Thus far, my day was going horribley. Our server turned that all around. He was the best waiter I've ever had in my entire life. He had a great sense of humor, and he made sure we were taken care of. A week later I brought my parents to that restaurant to see him, and today we still keep in contact via phone and social media. I'll never forget that day when one person took my horrible day and turned it into one of the best days of my life.
