Technically it's sql, but you'd be correct in that it wouldn't be a one-click conversion. But then again, Audyssey switched from Freelists to groups.io no problem, so it just relies on active webmasters to do such a thing. I don't think the search feature, maybe even notifications for pm's, is enough justification to switch to an entirely new platform, since there aren't many new environments that come close to being as lightweight and uncluttered as Pun-BB is, which is an accessible vs usable thing.
