In a way, there is reaper. However, i'd say that's more like Logic pro x. In edition, for reaper you need Osara, a plug-in that makes reaper accessible to screen readers, both on windows and mac. I personally quite like reaper and it lets me play instruments and make tracks. I also use CMK by masonasons or masonian, witch I've considered purchasing, it's quite nice for that as well. Well aiding in that with reaper, if using the virtual midi keyboard witch isn't very good.
