There is a clear log button. You only get one save slot. If you want to save your completed adventure, click the code link at the top, and it will give you BBCode for the log of your adventure that you can post on the forum, or keep in a text file, or what ever. It's fascinating how different our styles are, and how different our adventures go! It would never have occurred to me to role for an out of character question. Also, I don't like using that get started button, because I find those settings way too vague and mixed. So that's why I use the questions to get me started like I documented in my first post. On the other hand, you get to the adventure much quicker than I do.
