Ok, I've gota admit, that probably sucked. Here's something else, I've always kind of wanted to write.
A crossover with harry potter and the matrix.
chapter 0: a faint memory
Harry had always felt something was off. Faint things, at the corners of his eyes, things that he saw but knew he shouldn't... Pixles that formed into furniture, strange times where food tasted different than it was... And one time, he awoke in a pod filed with a jelatinous goo, then was quickly injected with a needle.
Flashback
Harry awoke, not to the walls of Dudley's second bedroom and the lumpy bed, but the strange feeling of floating.
He looked up and stared in horror. Millions of pods, spreading out in all directions, up and down, left and right, in endless rows as far as the eye could see.
Hetried to open his mouth, but he quickly realized that a tube was inside.
Before he could take a second look, a large creature, appearing to be some sort of robot, roughlt resembling a squid with many metallic red limbs. With a buz, it approached, holding a syringe in a metal pincer. It approached, and bgan to speak in a grating mechanical voice. Human, you have been disconnected early. Please stay calm while you are reinserted, this time a gentle, less rough hand reached out and grabbed his hand. Counting to three, it injected the syringe into his arm, and as the world went black, he heard a familiar voice say, tell Luna black ice is on her side.
And then he awoke again, but still not in the bedroom. He awoke in a large room, not unlike a train station.
A man appeared with a flash, in a multicolored suit. Failed! Failed! He said in an oddly mechanical voice, speaking into an earpease. Then he injected another syringe into his arm, whichhe noticed was flickering with light, and then he awoke in the bedroom again.
He would not know until years later, however, that what had happened was not a dream.
