Re: General fighting game banter
Regarding samshow anthology and their differences, the PSP version has menu music and different sounds for the menu than that of the ps2 and wii version. All play identically, but the ps2 and wii versions both have a toggleable arranged soundtrack that you can listen to in the extras. Those versions also have a survival mode of some sort in samshow 6 that is not featured in the psp version. The wii version has a motion based minigame where you navigate a ninja dog through obstacles using the wii remote. But the psp version is fine as long as you are playing it digitally, otherwise be prepared to wait out long load times associated with the umd. It does have all of the games, and art and original music in the extras.
I can remember calling up gamestop week after week to see if they got a copy of the game for the wii yet, think they got a little annoyed lol. But I did end up buying both psp and wii versions of samshow anthology, then later sold the psp version. That was a stupid idea, because I later learned that the psp version had a very limited physical release so is now worth quite a bit on open open market. Still have my wii copy, and I might buy a digital copy for my vita when I have the money to do so.
