The ps2 version used the same 3 button system, plus one button for reflect guard which was also in the psp version.. the difference is that the ps2 uses traditional inputs; fireball, dragon punch and half circle motions. The only game I've seen where inputs differ based on platform... kinda weird, but there you go. I loved that game. The only game that's ever felt like a 2d Soulcalibur, and the sound design was great too. And I loved the Darkstalkers Collection! Soo glad my ps2 was able to play imports because I had it modded. I got so many good games out of it, including the Samurai Shodown Anthology that was delayed in the US for forever.
I wouldn't describe SC VI's story mode as playable unless you're using OCR. hahaha. Wish I had a PC powerful enough to run it. And if I get MK 11 at all, it will be afterthe DLC is released and be something just to keep on my hdd for when friends come over and want something gory to play.
