@NevEd, oh there's a huge difference.
There wern't so many flashy sights back then, and reddit wasn't a thing neither was social media websites like facebook, Bebo was a thing in the UK along with another site I can't remember the nmae of.
I'd say the internet was a lot less full of angry people back then, or if it was; it wasn't so mainstream.
