Hey there!
Expansions 1 to 3 are story focused, and require the player to finish the main story first.
This is to ensure a fair experience, as it's a lot easier for us to balance encounters and skill checks when we know that the player has gone through the main dungeon and gained a few levels.
Future content:
As for Expansion 4 (which expands on the random events in the forest) we tailor the experience depending on what level the player is.
This content is available to every player, from the get go! However, there is a higher chance of the player coming across more dangerous enemies the higher their level.
Expansion 5 is also available from the very start, however, we suggest you run if you haven't played through the main story and come across the Hangman's Tree in the forest!
