@Nocturnus re: 41, You bring up a ery good point. For a while now I've thought their distribution status is ambiguous. But there's a clear difference between something like this and Apple2e emulation for example. Jason was transparent in distributing the written permission he had obtained from the former software vendors for distribution of the disk images of the games and programs he had included. We have yet to see similar from Blind Mice. I.e. a clause under copyright exceptions that indicates distributing movie description tracks falls under fare use? A written documents (similar to Chaffi Amendment in Bookshare's case even)? Nothing of the sort. Some state talking book libraries here in the states actually do deliver described movies on extended loan, though that is quite obviously as legal as a regular library doing the same for regular movies. On a somewhat related note, it is unfortunate that some of the state library collections have become quite dated by now, but that could also be due to the decrease in popularity of the dvd format.
