I am the developer, Alister. I just wanted to let you know that if you have ideas to improve the game's accessibility, I am always open ears. Please feel free to post ideas here, or message me in game.
Combat won't be changing in any substantial ways -- maybe if it were 15 years ago and I was first designing the combat system, I could build it to be a little slower-paced, but I don't think "big" changes to the dynamics would work any more. But if there are good ideas for other features that can be tacked on, I am always willing to consider them. For example, someone mentioned creating a soundpack for Mushclient. If someone were to identify the sounds needed, and put together the audio files, I would certainly be willing to create, maintain, and improve a package like that.
