Both of my proposed teams have a few I've used and a few I haven't.
On the Halloween team, I used Pandourbit in the first game, and mucked around a bit with Dormanoid and Bombusect (though I know both of those latter two have improved). I have plenty of experience with Fiendour and Mortrex in the first game, but not the second. I haven't seriously used Gargaram at all.
For the sound team: I used Shadina on my very first playthrough, and Skeletone on my second or third. I used Fowliture back in manamon 1, have never used Rythmond, love Symphonid enough to have used it twice, and Chimerus I've used once.
So familiarity-wise, the sound team has more unknowns, but I know from what experience I do have that it will also be easier to use. My entire Halloween team will be at least neutral or weak to ghost and holy, which will make things tougher for sure. It'll also require more work, technically, since Mortrex requires a trade after evolving.
