about Worcester, I admit I am a little suspicious sinse all the people I know went were people who were at my specialist school and have ended up pretty much just being products of that system, though given the dodginess of a lot of the Rnib I can believe things changed when they stopped managing the place.
Ironically the best school i went to was a mainstream church school where I did my A levels.
@Welshweyr I agree on the bf stuff, however some I'm enjoying more the second time round. I never rated Winter for the adept originally sinse it just seemed a sort of generic 19th century ghost story with histerical young women at a haunted girl's school with a rather complex explanation and Nissa seeming quite out of character as a grumpy cow, however second time I enjoyed it for the pure silliness and overdone theatrics, ---- after all what is more awsome than a homicidal grand piano? , and as for Nissa, well I suppose even the sareen girl from Traken can have too much when she's repeatedly dropped in snowbanks by the Doctor's monkeyings with teleportation.
Similarly with Land of the dead. appocalypse element I still enjoy more for the ideas than the story itself, and because it sparked off the really amazing Dalek empire series. Shadow of the scurge again I enjoyed more the second time around, albeit I still think that the Scurge as manifestations of human misery found targets who were a bit ffeeble in an embezler and a woman afraid to tell her husband about her baby, ---- I mean come on, these are supposed to be the dark secrets the Scurge pull out and feed on? It just seems a bit feeble to me compared to some of the dark things I know people have gone through in real life, meaning that overcoming it with the scurge felt a bit pointles and didn't pack the big positive wollop to me it should have done.
< p>Some people tend to think Bf lost it a bit around story 100 or so, however I personally disagree sinse I can think of stand out stories I enjoyed right through the run, like the Cybermen trilogy in the land of fiction where the sixth doctor meets Jamy again, ---- after all what can be cooler than Jamy and Rob roy hacking down cybermen with a claymore? and then there is the really awsome Heroes of Sontar, aka Dad's army with Sontarans! HEck, even up to the most recent set, I loved the story Tomb world, the 5th Doctor and Nissa get stuck on a spaceship flying tomb with a woman and her idiot sons who reminded me of Mom from Futurama, ---- oh and a gun ho lady from the early 1920's who snuck aboard the tardiss!While there are a few less good stories, I can't actually think of that many I'd regard as utter and total dross, sinse even in the worst stories there's usually always something fun to listen to, be that a good characterization, an awsome idea, an interesting alien or take on history etc.
