start making addons that are, indeed, yours, and perhaps I'll consider your web site again as a potential addon database.
First of all,the government doesn't give a flying fuck, and neither does the legal system on anything but paper, because no one has the patients for that bullshit. In fact the only reason they do anything at all in corporate intellectual rites battles, E.G. winy bitchslap fights, is because it makes them shit loads of money when 2 or more titans with unlimited funds go at it, paying the court and bribing the people who's opinions actually matter the entire time the proceedings continue.
No one would care about free products, not even a little bit, unless they were popular and or important enough to make someone look good, which th
is kind of thing wouldn't at all, and you'd be hard pressed even to get domain authorities to listen to you.
Second of all, that threat is getting old, and you aren't perfect either. What about all those sounds you use in the projects you work on, even if you don't touch them your self, your still aiding and abetting, as well as failing to report, a crime, all be it one no one in their right mind would waste time doing anything about.
That's just the stuff I know for sure, I'm almost certain, that at least once, you've used code that wasn't made completely from scratch by you and only you, or at least given with direct written permission with no limitations or expiration date of any kind by another coder, or bought by you, exclusively for your personal use with out redistribution of any kind, or, given to you by someone that had bought it for you directly and only for you.
And that's not even counting the ideas
you've unknowingly ripped off, or the patents you've skirted a bit too close to with out even being aware you did it, or the music you probably don't have all of the correct digital permissions for.
If you draw the line somewhere for other people, and defend it every time anyone crosses it, then expect to follow it your self, to the letter, no exceptions, even in a world where that line is not only nearly impossible to understand for the average person and always changing, full of contradictions, confusing and limiting rules, purposely misleading information, mistakes, and often exploited loopholes, but is also managed by people that are only looking out for their own interests, and those of massive corporations that can lobby for what ever change they want to effect on the end user.
Third of all, you don't even know if he was claiming those addons, the only hint you have is that at the top, he wrote the following:
"In this part of my website, you will find download links and documentation files for my NVDA add-ons".
How do you know he isn't speaking of his site, or his copy of NVDA, when he says, "MY NVDA Addon's"? You don't, so if you are confused and think that he may be taking credit for other people's work, you should probably bring it up politely and have it clarified, instead of giving your good old plagiarism speech that no one wants to hear in the first place.
Also, Oriel actually did write or co write most if not all of those addon's, as shown on other sites.
Lastly, why do you think anyone gives a crap what you think of their site, their work, or anything else they do, your not any sort of authority, but you act like you've earned that position, and lord it over people far too often in my opinion, at least from what I've seen on the internet, and Oriel doesn't deserve that shit. Neither does anyone el se for that matter...
