They're certainly not for everyone, which is why I recommended monitors earlier. I wish I had the ability to switch back and forth. I do have 1,()()() dollar component speakers in my car. The crossover on the Boston Z6's weighs a ton, which is what made me want to go crossoverless. IM(very humble!)O, a speaker like the Zu druid would be perfect for you.
