Not really. It's like putting a grapefruit shooter on an Acura, or upgrading your plug wires, or all the other hundreds of ways you can pour money into it for little (or quite often negative) benefit. The system as a whole is designed from the start for some level of price/performance, and it can't be greatly exceeded by swapping out a few parts.
