Just one thing I wonder, if by any chance the (A, B, C) descriptions
got a touch scrambled in the magic of 04:00 posting -- because from
your descriptions of A and B, I'd expect that A might be clocked (if
"using clock cable" is what you mean by clocked) and B unclocked.
