Okay, quick question: The SB3 has an internal antenna, obviously (I've never seen it); it seems to work just fine. I have an Airport Extreme in a different room and then an Airport Express parked 4' or so from the SB3. Reception is 100/99%, with little deviation. With the AE unplugged, it gets down to 60% or so.
Anyway, the Transporter has two larger external antennae. They look just like my phone, in fact! Question: how much better is the reception of the Transporter? -- highdudgeon SB3->Lavry DA10->Nuforce 9.02s->Harbeth Monitor 30s/Skylan stands. Simple and satisfying.
