Interestingly, when mixing on a conventional desk, there is almost no
way to alter a level by much less less than about 0.3dB - and even
0.5dB is a "relatively minor tweak". A typical desk pot (not a channel
fader) will have to cover about 15db over half its travel...you can
imagine that there's not much fine resolution to be had...
