I've been contemplating ripping some of my vinyl (mostly high-quality classical recordings my grandfather was going to toss several years ago) and figured I might as well go the 24/96 route, just because I can. I'd rather not make two runs (one at 24/96 for long-term archiving and one at SB3-appropriate rates, so would I be better off letting the SB3 do the downsampling or downsampling in software and saving a separate file for SB3 playback? I'm assuming it won't make that much difference either way?
