I was actually asking Jan, since he has admitted he couldn't hear a difference between two very very different DACs (the Lite DAC 60 has a tubed output). That's consistent with listening tests, for example those showing people can't distinguish between tube amps and solid state or $10,000 CD players and $30 ones, but most audiophiles won't admit to it. So I'm curious whether Jan has heard differences in other DACs.
